SHIPPING
Cost of shipping exhibition prints to the festival is the responsibility of the entrant unless a request is made prior to entry. Exhibition copies must be sent to the festival prepaid. The festival cannot accept responsibility for damage or loss of materials while in transit. Please use only plastic or bubble pack cases when shipping entries.

Please enclose a stamped, self-addressed postcard or email us if you wish to receive confirmation that your entry has been received. Please do NOT ask for signature confirmation for your entry, although you may ask for a delivery confirmation.

RETURN OF SUBMISSION
Due to the large number of entries received submission materials and videos will not be returned.
FORMATS
A completed entry form and an entry fee must accompany each film or video. Entries must be submitted on NTSC DVD or mini-dv. Foreign language work must be dubbed or subtitled in English or Spanish. In addition to your entry, please enclose any press kits, reviews, or publicity materials. If possible, send a menu-less DVD for screening.
SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
Programming decisions are made by the festival directors and our selection committee. If accepted, we will notify filmmakers by email. After acceptance, the presentational format will need to be in our office two weeks prior to festival. Be sure to indicate aspect ratio of your film/video as well as any other special screening or presentation information we might need to know. We do not pay rental fees for submitted work that is programmed.
AWARDS
Although the art of filmmaking is not competitive, the Atlanta Shortsfest does give awards. The festival jury will present awards to short films selected as best in these categories: Drama, Comedy, Documentary, Horror & Sci-Fi, Experimental, Animation, "Best of Fest" and many more.
