If not using Withoutabox, a secure payment through PayPal is preferred after filling out the ONLINE ENTRY FORM.
US Money Orders & Checks are also accepted, and should be made to FESTIVAL LEAGUE.
SHIPPING
Cost of shipping exhibition prints to the festival is the responsibility of the entrant unless a request is made prior to entry. Exhibition copies must be sent to the festival prepaid. The festival cannot accept responsibility for damage or loss of materials while in transit. Please use as little packaging material as possible when shipping your entry.
CONFIRMATION
Please enclose a stamped, self-addressed postcard or email us if you wish to receive confirmation that your entry has been received.
RETURN OF SUBMISSION
Due to the large number of entries received submission materials and videos will not be returned.
FORMATS
A completed entry form and an entry fee must accompany each film or video. Entries must be submitted on DVD, Blu-Ray, digital format, or via the Withoutabox secure online screener. (This is the preferred method) Foreign language work must be dubbed or subtitled in English.
SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
Programming decisions are made by the festival directors and our selection committee. If accepted, we will notify filmmakers by email. After acceptance, the presentational format will need to be in our office two weeks prior to festival. Be sure to indicate aspect ratio of your film/video as well as any other special screening or presentation information we might need to know. We do not pay rental fees for submitted work that is programmed.
AWARDS
Although the art of filmmaking is not competitive, the Atlanta Shortsfest does give awards.
