2027 Atlanta Shortsfest

So well organized and genuinely fun! The attention to detail and care were evident throughout the entire festival. It was easy to connect with both fellow filmmakers and the audience, and I was especially impressed by the promotion and thoughtful programming behind the event.

 Truly an amazing festival. I've attended a lot of festivals, both as an audience member and a filmmaker. Atlanta Shortsfest is so special. I haven't seen one that curates to such a high degree while still feeling grounded and approachable, and also going out of the way to accommodate filmmakers and make them feel cared for—until I attended Atlanta Shortsfest. I am a fan for life. I will be back again and again. 

This is one of the best film festivals I have attended! The entire team was incredibly welcoming, they did an amazing job truly celebrating every creator and ensuring that the program ran smoothly. The films that were selected were amazing and inspiring. Definitely a festival worth submitting to and attending!

 I was blown away by the quality of the films included in this festival, as well as by the passion and enthusiasm by not only the filmmakers and film lovers in attendance, but by the folks behind the scenes. This festival is clearly a labor of love; it was evident in the planning, the follow-through, and the interactions. I can confidently say this is one of the best festivals I've attended! I walked away with new contacts AND new friends. 

Atlanta Shortest is a festival that truly champions the artists they hand select. Their communication is so warm and friendly and I can just tell how excited they were to have my music video be a part of their official selection. They put so much effort into their programming and it really shows. I feel like I'm a part of a community and I don't always feel that way about other festivals. Thank you Atlanta Shortest for all you do to lift up independent work and I look forward to submitting again and again.

 We had a fabulous time at the Atlanta Shortsfest! The communication from acceptance onward was timely and informative. The staff, who all clearly LOVE movies, made us feel welcomed and the films all looked and sounded amazing in the theatre! I was blown away by the filmmaker attendance and made so many new friends with fellow filmmakers, actors, directors and film lovers. The films were all so GOOD! Great indie energy! 

Atlanta ShortsFest has been family to me from the very beginning. They believed in my work early on and gave me the opportunity to premiere my very first short film, and that experience meant everything to me as a filmmaker.

What really separates this festival from many others I’ve attended is the atmosphere they create for filmmakers. They’ve built a genuine creative community where filmmakers actually connect with each other as people, not just as networking opportunities. The support feels real, the conversations are authentic, and there’s a sense that everyone wants to see each other succeed.

 This festival was WONDERFUL! We were blown away by the quality of the films and so incredibly honored that our short 'Living My Best Afterlife' was included in the lineup and also nominated for Best Concept. The venue and audience were great and it was so nice that so many filmmakers were there to network with between blocks and afterward. The event coordinators really did a great job of making the filmmakers and our guests feel welcome, comfortable and celebrated for our art. Couldn't recommend this festival more highly! 

Extremely proud to have two of my films screened "Trigger" and "Bound" - Best Drama Nominee. The team's communication all around is exceptional; which is so important. This is not just a festival to collect a laurel. They really put time in! It was great to see my film amongst so many exceptional and quality driven films. The venue was great and the networking events were put together extremely well. Indie film makers and lover's of Indie Films... this is a great place to see the future of film and filmmakers and connect with people from all over.
