17 Years of Indie Shorts at Atlanta ShortsFest
Atlanta Shorts is the longest-running short film festival in Atlanta, celebrating independent filmmaking and creative storytelling for nearly 20 years. Each summer, we screen short films from around the world, including comedy, drama, horror, documentary, animation, and experimental work.
The festival takes place May 14 - 16, 2026 at 7 Stages Theater in Atlanta, Georgia.
Along with screenings, Atlanta Shortsfest brings filmmakers and audiences together for Q&As, networking, and post-screening gatherings.
It’s the short film festival where indie filmmakers connect with the Atlanta film community.
